Internal Communication: Needs and Development The rst consideration is the employees' need to have some sort of acknowledgement of the open letter. The employees identied eight areas that need to be focused on going forward, and it is important to address these areas and the plan to work on each or conrmation of a plan being worked on. Employees are feeling overworked and undervalued and need to hear from their CEOs that they are prioritizing employee needs and incorporating employee feedback into the plans for the future of the company. It is imperative for the employees to feel that they are being heard at this time, and it is important for the CEOs to convey the message that they are working hard to alleviate the employee concerns. Internal Communication: Support To offer continuous support to the employees, the CEOs will implement an open-door policy for any employee concerns. Employees can feel comfortable approaching management with concerns without fear of repercussions. Additionally, ongoing training and development will be available and employees who would like to advance in their careers with RIM will be encouraged to attend. Opportunities for advancement will be available internally before extending recruitment to external candidates
