Guidelines for Case Presentation and Material Preparation

General Requirements

Summarize the case and prepare $15-25$ slides for oral presentation. Prepare a brief formal presentation $(15-20$ minutes$).$ Your presentation should be in PowerPoint format.

A compelling overview to "hook" the audience.

Sufficient background material to orient the audiences to the issue considered. To convey clearly through slides and spoken media the specific aspects of IT practice to non$-$specialist audiences.

Clear subsections with subheadings identify major points.

Standard documentation using endnotes, bibliography, and appendixes if necessary.

Recent literature related to the assigned case is encouraged to be added.

General Principles of Good Case Presentation

Tell a compelling story that engages the audience.

Have a clear idea of what the objectives of the case are: This is an example $($or case$)$ of$....$ From this case we learn. $...$ etc.

Highlight the ambiguities of the issue under consideration. Avoid overanalyzing the options; leave "space" for the audiences to think analytically and creatively to solve the business IT issues. This will provoke interest and critical analysis.
