Phil operates a small fruit and vegetable shop which attracts regular customers that particularly enjoy his variety of exotic fruits. One of his suppliers, Supreme Mangoes, has not delivered the agreed number of mangoes. The contract states that 100 mangoes will be received within a week of placing the order. The due date arrives, and the mangoes are not delivered. Two weeks later Supreme Mangoes apologises and explains that the mangoes have been held up due to their mistake and finally delivers the mangoes. However, only 50 mangoes are delivered. The mangoes are overripe and some even damaged. Meanwhile some of the regular customers decide to start shopping somewhere else. Advise Phil as to his contractual rights. In your answer, discuss what remedies may be available to marly. (10 marks)
