Develop the mathematical model of the process and find steady-state solution(s). Obtain the state space and transfer function models by appropriately defining the state and input variables in deviation form. Based on stability analysis, explain the input multiplicity behavior. Design an IMC based PID controller for the process at both stable and unstable steady-states.
