It is requested to compare the equations developed by Arthur Lubinski $(1954)$ and Bernt Sigve Aadn$$y $(1987)$ for the stress distribution around a vertical well due to fluid flow in the pores of a porous medium.

The comparison will be held through these steps:

$1)$ Do they reduce to the Lame solution for the stress distribution symmetrical about an axis for zero porosity?

$2)$ Plot the stress distribution of both cases for different conditions $($Table $1$ and Table $2$ respectively$)$ and compare the results.

$3)$ What are the main differences between the two models? What assumptions are causing those differences?
