It would be helpful to have an example of a hypothetical situation for a pre-sentence report? For instance, if someone were to be arrested for drunk driving and they don't have any type of criminal history what would a pre sentence report say about that person? I know that it should have the circumstances of the offense, the defendant's personal history and criminal record, and a statement by a victim on how they suffered.....
