It's just as important to leave a good impression when you leave a job, as it is when you are searching for a job. In this assignment, you'll write a professional letter of resignation. You've had practice writing business letters already, and this one is similar.

For this assignment, you will be resigning from your educational career at your College. This letter will use the same format you used for the business letter and cover letter.

Write a letter to an instructor, your program chair or someone who has been a major part of your experience at Ivy Tech. (You won't be mailing it, but you can if you choose to.) You will need to include your last day of employment (in this case, your last day of class, or your graduation date.) Include a positive statement about your experience, and include the inside address and date.
