Question: I've been having a hard time thinking of examples even after reading most of the class post. I went to get my teeth cleaned today

I've been having a hard time thinking of examples even after reading most of the class post. I went to get my teeth cleaned today and it dawned on me the conversation the dentist and I had about COVID-19 and chances of people getting it could be a good example. I've been hearing that Vitamin C and D has the ability to dodge the virus. Potentially a null hypothesis could be something like: people who take Vitamins C and D are no less likely to contract Covid-19. The alternative hypothesis could be people who take Vitamins C and D are less likely to contract Covid-19. If we gave one group of people the Vitamin C and D, we could record those around the virus with another group of people who are vitamin D deficient. After experimenting, there may not be enough support for the hypothesis that Vitamin C and D can prevent Covid-19.

Does this make sense? Or can you give me a better example that makes sense?
