1. Jo and Alex, while students at MRU, decided to start a small lawn care business together. They did not formalize their business structure by drafting any contracts and just assumed they would work well together. The business did well so they expanded into snow shovelling in the winter. Now Jo would like to do a further expansion into home painting. Alex is not sure the further expansion is a good ide Also they are fighting about money. Jo alleges she has spent more time working at the business so is owed money. Alex disagrees. They are not speaking to one another anymore. If Jo or Alex choose to litigate:
