Job Data Collection Form

Completion of this data collection form is part of the Job Evaluation Process. This data will then be distilled into a Job Description. The final version will be approved as required and submitted to the Job Evaluation Committee for rating as part of the Job Evaluation Process.

Only one completed form is required for each job regardless of the number of incumbents in the job. $($An incumbent is an employee who is assigned a particular set of duties and responsibilities or is assigned to a particular job.$)$ New jobs which have been identified in operating budgets but not yet staffed also require the completion of a Job Data Collection Form $("$JDCF$")$

This Job Data Collection Form asks for descriptive information about the job's duties and responsibilities. An existing Job Description may be a good source of information.

Regardless of who is involved in providing input for the completion of this form, it is the responsibility of the Supervisor to complete it$,$ ensuring quality and completeness. As part of the process, the Supervisor may obtain input from the incumbent.

The completed form is to be sent to Human Resources who will review the information for completeness, ensure all necessary inputs were obtained and draft the job description.

The ABC Company Overview

The ABC Company has been operating in Regina for the past $25$ years. They employ $150$ people throughout Saskatchewan and their head office is in Regina. They have several smaller locations throughout the province. They ABC company employs mostly full$-$time employees, many of whom are engineers or tradespeople. There are about $25$ people in head office with roles ranging from administrative, accounting, payroll, health and safety, human resources and legal.

The position of HR Associate is based out of head office and is a full$-$time position. The HR Associate works $8$:$30-5$:$00,$ Monday $-$ Friday.
