Johnson & Johnson Access and use of technology resources: All the employees have the access to technology resources in Johnson & Johnson. There is no access to the people who are outsiders to the company. All the technology resources can be viewed and used by the employees on the dashboard of the website. Access and use of confidential and propreitary information: All the confidential and propreitary information is not accesible to all the people in the organization. Access is denied for the information that is critical and sensitive to the company. All the new innovation related information has also denied access. Transfer of intellectual property work product: Transfer of intellectual property work product means, transferring of the company's assets such as laptops, tabs, mobile phones etc to the specific employees in the organization. Employees can use these electronic gadgets in the name of the company for all the company related and official work. They can keep the company assets with them as long as they are working for the organization. Once they leave the organization, employees should transfer these assets to the company. Performance evaluation - There are approximately 128,000 employees working for the organization. j&j promotes a culture of learning and development for all its employees. It ensures that everybody gets equal opportunities for the growth and development in the organization. The performance evaluation in the organization is termed as performance and development (P&D) approach. P&D approach has two dimensions - Results and leadership. The first dimension, Results are based on management by objectives framework by aligning the individual goals with the goals of the organization. Second dimension, Leadership is based on the leadership imperatives and key behaviors that are critical to the future success of the organization. These two dimensions form provide a basis for the performance evaluation in j&j. Discrimination: J&J is one of the best places to work. Yet they have cases of racial bias, and culture of the discrimination in terms of race, sex, or nationality. Many ex-employees have claimed that company's culture is discriminated. There are many cases where the ex-employees filed a law suit against the organization. Health and safety standards: J&J gives safety and health of its employees as its first priority and prime importance. They are guided by EHS&S standards which covers a a wide range of health and safety requirements. They provide support programs and services to help the employees live safe and happy life. J&J takes care of the well being of its employees and provides them variety of the programs and initiatives to them and their families.
