As more of the workforce falls into the category of contingent workers, concern increases for the well-being of those caught in this expanding phenomenon. What needs emerge for the workers in this situation? What concerns should we have? Apply the Kantian ethic to the question of employer responsibility to the contingent (short-term, temporary) workforce Specifically, what obligation(s) might the Kantian ethic impose on contingent workers?
