I was in a graduate class many years ago and the Professor played this scene from Good Will Hunting to describe how to establish a good therapeutic relationship. My recommendation is that you don't grab your clients by the throat and threaten to end their life. Also, what stereotypes does this play into when it comes to Therapists? My question is simple, how are you going to establish a close respectful therapeutic relationship with the clients you serve? Don't research this, don't Google it, give me your thoughts on what you would do
