KB/S Reflective Term... o SSC 109G - REFLECTIVE TERM PAPER Purpose: Students will complete a reflective journal relating early learning experiences, personal values, and beliefs to the strategies and habits used to manage finances. This assignment requires the student to come to conclusions about the changes in attitudes toward personal finances that need to be made to lessen financial problems. Content: There are two parts of the paper. For Part A students will need to choose one topic from the list provided and complete a minimum of 1 full page for your response. How does your culture or family view money? How does this influence your outlook? Do you believe that you can make major financial decisions on your own? Do you rely more on your family to make your large decisions? Explain in detail if your current situation will allow you to reach your goals 2. Discuss how your early life experiences contribute to your current values in regard to money. What are your spending habits? Do you think they are good or need to be changed? How could a growth mindset help improve your attitude towards money? 3. What is the definition of success to you? How do your spending habits help or hurt you from achieving success? Does money contribute to a better life, or is it limiting? 4. How were your finances (your family's your friend's) effected by current events, for example, the province being shut down for the pandemic, the increasing cost of real estate, etc.?
