QUESTION 4 (a) (a) Define: (i) Saddle point (1 mark) (b) Explain the difference between pure strategy and mixed strategy. (2 marks) (c)Two players P and Q play a game where each of them has to choose one of the three colours white (W), black (B) and red (R) independently of the other. Thereafter the colours are compared. If both P and Q have chosen white (W, W) neith er wins anything. If player P selects white, and Q black (W, B), player P loses Rs 2 or player Q wins the same amount and so on. The complete payoff table is shown below.
