1. A cognitive psychologist is interested in determining, with 99% degree of certainty, if room temperature will affect the time an individual is able to complete task of medium difficulty. 25 participants were recruited to join this experiment where they had to complete 2 puzzles of the same level of difficulty (both medium level of difficulty). In condition O, participants were asked to complete the task in a cubicle with normal temperature (around 20 degrees Celsius). In condition P, the room temperature was raised to 27 degrees Celsius while they completed the second puzzle. The time it took to correctly complete each puzzle was recorded (in minutes).
