KPU Courses BUSM 5110: Managing Dynamic Teams (PO1) Submit: Reflection #2 Reflect on the leadership styles you have used in the past or have witnessed others using in a team environment. Consider your work environment, your personal life, movies you have seen or during one of the team-based exercises in class. Discuss examples of when Goleman's six leadership styles were used. Were they appropriate for the circumstances? Why or why not? Would another style have been better? Consider whether the core competencies related to emotional intelligence were demonstrated e.g. self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and social skill. Was there room for improvement?
