To save money the school opted to bind the scribblers and the calculator booklets using their in-house printing and binding shop, and the students agreed to provide volunteers to cover any labour required to prepare the materials For the printing requirements, the cycle time to assemble and bind the 8.5x 11" scribblers is 52 seconds. The printing department and the Students' Union have agreed to start packing the gift packs through the weekend before registration wook, which starts on a Monday. The students are welcome to ute as much of that space between the elevators and the Tim Horton's for assembly without ring with other the movement of students or registration is on either side of the counter Part 1: Creating Your Value Stream 1 Create a value stream for the assembly proces described above 2. Assuming a 2-day head start on production working around the dock, calculate the task time for the process 3. For each step in the process, calculate 1. The minimum practical inventory level of raw materials to store before the top 2. The cycle time for the step 3. The setup time for the step 4. A practical batch sire for that step 5. The minimum number of labourers you need at each step to maintain praction 4.
