Let's do an exercise in pretend. Pretend that you work for the Oak Hotel and Conference Center in a fictitious large city in the State of Illinois. Further pretend that you have an HR Manager who you do not trust, and who did not keep information confidential. In 4-5 paragraphs, explain what this can do to a business, and a business's reputation. Further explain how you, as an employee of the business, might deal with this. For purposes of the last sentence, first pretend that you are the General Manager of the hotel-what would you do? Then pretend that you are a front desk agent and this information (maybe yours, maybe someone else's) information was exposed inappropriately. Now what would you do as that front desk agent?
