Linear programming is a mathematical optimisation with the following characteristics:
- a set of decision variables where the variables have continuous values,
- an objective function (which is expressed in terms of the identified decision variables) that is linear, and
- a set of constraints that are also linear.
This assignment requires you to carry out four (4) tasks.
Task 1: Online Participation (CLO1)
- Compare and discuss the two methods of solving linear programming: the graphical method and the simplex method.
- Select FIVE (5) of your best postings and take screenshots of your postings;
- Include the screenshots as images in your assignment. The images should be in either JPG or PNG format. Refer to the figure below.
- The screenshots taken must display the Title of the Discussion, Day, Date, and Time. The marking guide for Task 1 is provided on the last page of this question paper.
