Listed below are several topics I would like for each of you to discuss throughout the week. Refer to the weekly materials, your textbook, and$/$or the GMC library when researching the topics for this Civil Discourse Forum. Put your writing into your own words, do not copy directly from the source.

$1.$ Go to a job search website of your choice and check job listings in a business field that you are interested in pursuing. You will need to check at least $5$ different job postings. From each job listing, compile a single list of the most frequently requested soft skills $($at least $5).$ For each item in your list, evaluate your current skill level. Provide information on what you can do to help improve your skills in each area. For each of the job listings you selected provide the company name and the job title.

$2.$ Complete the Communications Skills Assessment. This assessment exercise enables you to evaluate your skills with specific standards in four critical communication skill areas: writing, reading, speaking, and listening. How well you communicate will be an important factor in your future career. Select a number from $1($low ability$)$ to $5($high ability$)$ that best reflects your perception of yourself. Be honest. When you finish, follow the instructions at the end to review your results. Then answer the following questions in this discussion forum. $1)$ Where are you strongest and weakest? $2)$ Are you satisfied with your present skills? $3)$ What are your expectations from this course to help you improve your communication skills?
