Looking at probability in the world, we can see it being used in many different aspects. For example, racing, card/dice games, and lottery. When I think of something with multiple outcomes I have witnessed and enjoy, it is dirt track racing. On a dirt track, roughly 20-25 cars are out on the oval track at a time. That would mean the vehicle I want to win would have a 1 in 20 chance of winning. Now, other factors weigh into these chances. That could be other cars crashing or having issues that lead them to leave the race early, which would adjust the probability of the vehicle I selected to win to have a higher chance of winning. An event that has occurred in my life that had a low probability was when my buddy wanted to build a go-kart for the Fourth of July parade. Some may ask why this would be a situation where the likelihood of him being able to make it would be so low, as he began this project on the 2nd of July without telling anyone about it. My friends and I didn't find out about his project until the night of the 3rd of July, and we all didn't believe that it was something he could complete. But come that morning, we had found out that he had finished it and was able to bring it to the parades. Now, the go-kart may have broken down part of the way, but we found it wild that he could complete something from scratch and bring it to the parade.
