I am writing to the Courier$-$Post in hopes that something will be done before more people are hurt or killed on the disaster that has been set up on Interstate $295$ northbound and southbound in South Jersey.

This interstate needs to be reviewed and the current construction expedited. With all our resources and high unemployment, why can't this project be worked around the clock until completion and put some people back to work?

I travel this road every day and can assure you there has to be a better way. Our local politicians just don't get it$,$ because if they did, they would review this issue and resolve it$.$

I am sure that readers would be aghast to find out that a national protest took place in our nation's capital on Friday, and The Inquirer, for whatever reason, ignored the event as though it never happened.

But it did happen. Hundreds of thousands of people descended on our nation's capital Friday, calling on Cong to pass legislation to overturn Roe v$.$ Wade, the ruling that legalized abortion.

Could it be that The Inquirer no longer considers the yearly event news? Then let's ignore the yearly Susan G$.$ Komen Race for the Cure that raises money to fight breast cancer. Could it be that you see events by other group more newsworthy? You owe it to your readers to print the news, and let them decide what's newsworthy.
