Use the 5-force model to describe and evaluate the intensity of rivalry among established companies in the US telecommunications industry. Make sure you consider the four factors (competitive structure; demand conditions; cost conditions; and height of exit barriers) when evaluating the intensity of rivalry. 2. Use the 5-force model to evaluate the risk of entry into the commercial aircraft industry. Make sure you consider the barriers to entry discussed in the model. Discuss how the barriers across segments differ and the reasons for the difference. M1 Part B.
