During the first two modules, we've learned about the hazards classification, methods to identify and control them. I'd like you to utilize the materials and analyze your workplace. Provide the examples of 5-6 possible hazards that could be present at your current or past workplace? What harm could each hazard cause to workers? How often do you see it happening in everyday work activity (on scale Low, Medium, High)? What do you think would be appropriate controls (provide at least 3)? . To help you with the task, think of the following questions: What materials or situations do I come into contact with? How could I overexert myself? What materials or equipment could I be struck by? What objects or equipment could I strike or hit my body upon, or that part of my body might be caught in, on, or between? What could I fall from? What could I slip or trip on? Here are the two examples of my previous workplace: 1. Hazard: wet floor Harm: slip, falls Risk Level: medium Controls: cleaning area immediately, marking wet areas . 2. Hazard: knife Harm: cut Risk Level: low Controls: use the right tool for the job, educate workers in the safe use of a tool, cut on a stable surface
