This survey, distributed to certified teachers within our schools, delves into the factors influencing teachers' decisions to enter, stay, or leave the profession. The survey gathers demographic data, such as years of teaching experience and current level of education, to provide a contextual framework for the responses. The survey questions then explore various topics, including the adequacy of undergraduate preparation for teaching, the impact of pay raises on recruitment and retention, and teachers' enthusiasm for returning to the profession in the next school year. It also examines the effect of extending the retirement age from 25 to 30 years on teacher recruitment, the sustainability of retirement income from teaching, the role of affordable post-retirement insurance in attracting new teachers, and the influence of an inclusive school community on teacher recruitment and retention. The findings from this survey will provide valuable insights into the dynamics of teacher recruitment and retention, informing strategies to address this pressing issue. the response should not be raising the retirement age but the minimum required years in order to retire
