make three potential research questions that you would like to investigate. Descriptions supporting each question should be pretty brief -- no more than half a page, but more than one sentence for each. The three questions can be based on a single general topic, such as college student drinking; or on three distinctly different topics, such as college student drinking, academic motivation, or strength training. Give these questions some thought because one of these will likely be what you will investigate for the rest of the semester. Include at least one general area of interest (for example, the drinking behavior of college students) and three specific questions or problems that you would like to answer (i.e. do students who drink more have more social problems?). You will only need to include a total of three questions, not three questions per topic. For each question, specify who would serve as participants (i.e. first-year undergraduates at UCF) and who would want to read about your study (college administrators, mental health counselors). One of these may not be your final research question, but this exercise will serve as a good starting point.
