Presentation Guidelines

1.

Remember that the overall topic is innovation

2.

Your presentation should use a business (can be non-profit) example to

demonstrate an innovation concept. (It is not adequate to just show a

cool / innovative product. We are more interested in

how

companies

can organize to

repeatedly

innovate or how an innovation is

significant that it may change peoples lives)

3.

Include a 5 8 minute video. If your video is longer, just show 5 8

minutes.

4.

You should have some other structured (could be PowerPoint or Prezi)

presentation to organize the lessons from the video. Many students

use short intro, video, discussion / application for an outline (see power

point template in D2L).

5.

You should aim for meaningful student interaction. Dont ask yes or no

questions or trivial questions.

6.

The overall presentation should be about 15 minutes and allow for

another 8 minutes of interaction / discussion.

7.

Prepare some sort of handout for the professor to take notes and get

the main point of your presentation. (Your presentation should have a

point.
