Excel Assignment #1 Employees and Territories

Due: Monday, October 9^th at 2:00

Using the data for this assignment on Canvas, do the following.

Use the COUNTIF function to show:

The number of salaries above $50,000

The number of people in Information Systems

The number of people the West Region

Use the SUMIF function to:

Total the Salaries that are above $50,000

Total the Salaries of those in Manufacturing

Total the Union Dues of those earning $75,000 or more

Create the following graphs and include a chart title, and labeled X-axis. Put each graph on a new tab and label the tabs. Sort the data first before you create the charts.

Notes:

Show the new data in a color other than black.

All columns and summary data should be labeled. All long labels should be word wrapped so that they each fit in one cell no matter how many lines they require.

Format values appropriately (put in dollar signs etc.) and arrange the results so that they are clear and easily readable (e.g. put boxes around them and/or different colors, etc.)
