This week we will discuss e-business systems. After sharing with the rest of our team a quick overview of the definition of e-business systems, elaborate upon examples in the areas of transaction processing systems, enterprise collaboration systems, and various types of functional business systems such as marketing systems, sales force automation, computer integrated manufacturing, and human resource systems. Oh, and for all of you who love to crunch numbers, accounting systems. :-) Which of these did you find most interesting? Does your current or past firm have e-business systems in any of these areas?
