Management must do more than just go to where work is done to lead continuous improvement. By this we mean they must also: a. Increase the number of workers and support functions in the organization b. Develop a highly skilled continuous improvement support department c. Draw suppliers into long term partnerships that favor the organization's bottom line d. Be able to simply articulate and measure the opportunities for improvement
