Task:
You recently went on holiday with your family. You were disappointed with the service you received at the hotel. Write a letter to Mr Knight, the hotel manager. In your letter you must: state why you are writing to him give two reasons why you are unhappy with the service you received explain what you would like the hotel manager to do. You must write between 100 and 150 words only.
Response:
Dear Mr Knight,
I am writing this Email to highlight the poor quality of service I received while staying at your hotel. Firstly, upon my arrival there was no receptionist to check me in. I had to wait a considerable amount of time before a receptionist finally appeared from the staff break room significantly spoiling my experience. Secondly, on the same day of my arrival I ordered room service. I had to wait a grand total of 2 hours before the food could be delivered to my room. The combination of these events spoiled my day significantly combined with the staff's rude demeanour forced me to write this email to you. My suggestion to you would be hiring extra staff so that the wait time would significantly decrease. I would also advice teaching you staff manners and etiquette as there are sorely lacking in them.
Yours sincerely,
Tom
