Mars accepts other work interstate in the days leading up to the festival, so he tells the organizers that he will miss the first 2 rehearsals but will be able to attend the final rehearsal. The festival organizers tell him that they are terminating the contract because said he won’t attend all 3 rehearsals and refuse to pay him any of the money they had promised.
