Math 5A Project 5 - SAVE ME MONEY! Tariffs have increased the cost of materials AND we want to become more environmental friendly to reduce our carbon footprint. Due to several shifts in US. policy, our company, CocaCola, will need to study the current product line to determine if they are cost effective. As our lead analyst, you will be tasked to research and minimize the cost of making new cans and bottles for some of our best-selling products. You will be asked to do the following: 1. Calculate all the relevant characteristics of your product. 2. Research the cost of the materials necessary to make your product and the cost of alternative materials that may lessen our production costs. 3. Calculate the minimum cost in producing each products so that it can hold the same amount of liquid using your information from #1 and #2. Please make sure to list all the assumptions you make when calculating this cost. 4. Create a poster (either old-school method on the tri-fold posterboard or on PPT) to present your findings to Professor Ham and share with the class. He will ask you many many many questions during the presentation so be prepared to defend any decisions you make
