Dear Matlab I am a middle school math teacher and am preparing a handout for my students discussing the meaning of the maxima, and minima of a graph. I am using Matlab to generate the plots for my examples and have managed to plot my function. For clarity sake I would like to place a red triangle at the global maximum and a blue square at the global minimum on my plot. Can you help mefigure out how to do this in such a way that I dont have to find them by hand for each different function? Ms. Plot
