MATLAB SCRIPTING LANGUAGE

I keep receiving this error message when carrying out automated testing on a script in matlab

Error occurred in testmyScript/testProcess3 and it did not run to completion.

output = myScript(input_data); % run the script on the input data

What's wrong? the script(myScript.m) works well, and i dont intend to run the script as a function with that line of code
