Megan and Matt decide to marry. Their families wish to plan the wedding without consulting Megan and Matt. One fact to consider would be that Megan and Matt will not run away and marry as they wish. Answer the following questions based on the above event. 1. What assumptions you would make for planning the wedding. This would include project objective and other assumptions. For example, the parents decide to involve Megan and Matt. 2. Prepare WBS. 3. Make a list of the specific activities that need to be done between now and the wedding day. 4. For each activity, identify the person (Megan, Matt, their respective parent(s)) who would be responsible for the activity completion. Mention the name of the responsible persons, activity- wise. 5. Prepare a network diagram showing the sequence and dependent relationships of all the activities. 6. Prepare an estimated duration for each activity. 7. Using a project start time of 0 (or January 1) and a required project completion time of 90 days (or March 31 – it is not a leap year), calculate the ES, EF, LS, and LF times and total slack for each activity. If your calculations result in a project schedule with negative total slack, revise the project scope, activity estimated durations, and/or sequence or dependent relationships among activities to arrive at an acceptable baseline schedule for completing the project within 90 days (or by March 31). Describe the revisions you made. 8. Find out the critical path and identify the activities that make up the critical path. 9. Make a Gantt Chart based on the ES and EF times from the schedule in item 7. 10. Using the responsibility assignments and the baseline schedule, create a resource requirements table for each resource, based on an as-soon-as-possible (ASAP) schedule.
