Current Events Assignment (40 points)

This week, a Current Events Analysis is due. The article you select should focus on a current Management issue or news topic and the article should:

• Summarize briefly but clearly the main points of the article; (10 points)
• Evaluate its relevance or significance; (12 points)
• Relate the article applies to course material that we are studying. (18 points). Book: Management 14E Robbins and Coulter, 145. Chapter 5

Students should choose their Current Events from the following : Bloomberg,The Economist,Forbes,Fortune,The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal but may select from other periodicals as long as the article chosen deals with Management issues. A copy of or link to the article or must be submitted with the analysis.

Each Current Event Assignment should be approximately two pages in length and will be evaluated on the basis of clear and effective writing and effective application of course material.
