MGMT 6054 Project Strategy Assignment - Change Management Instructions This is a group assignment worth 15% of your final grade. For the industry selected by your group in the Project - Industry Sustainability, determine what might be a plausible change initiative for an imaginary company in that industry. Important: this must be an imaginary company, not a real company. The change initiative could be an internal change to improve organizational behaviour and/or employee motivation; a change driven by external market, customer or political pressures; or a business expansion. Your group must decide on a relevant change initiative and support your proposal with references from business media reports, and your own insights. Yes, you may cite examples of real companies. Create a 15-slide-maximum presentation using PowerPoint. It must introduce the change initiative and provide background information to support the initiative. The presentation must provide the approach for successful implementation using the Kotter model for leading change. Management does NOT want an explanation of the Kotter model since they are already familiar with the approach. They want initiative-specific recommendations for HOW to implement each of the eight steps. Include at least one slide for each of the eight steps. Minimum 20 point font throughout. Submit the completed presentation as a single pdf. Submit team participations minutes as a separate file.
