Michael Smithy, born on May $12,1979,$ is a $35$ year old male who has recently moved to a new home with one other man $3$t $3232$ Wisconsin Ave., NW$,$ Washington, DC$.$ Mr$.$ Smithy has lived with his parents until now and they remain very active in his life. On Sunday, January $2,2015,$ Mr$.$ Smithy returned home with a new pair of size $10$ Jordan's, after visiting with his parents. At around $11$:$30pm,$ one of the overnight staff, Jonathan Lockheed, entered the home to relieve Brandon Waters who works the $4$pm$-12$am shift. As Mr$.$ Waters was leaving the residence, Mr$.$ Lockheed noticed that he had a Footlocker bag in his hand. The next morning, Mr$.$ Smithy's mom called to see how he slept overnight and the staff person, Mr$.$ Lockheed answered the phone while Mr$.$ Smithy was getting ready for the day. Mrs$.$ Smithy asked Mr$.$ Lockheed, "Will Michael be wearing his new shoes to his job today?" Mr$.$ Lockheed asked, "What new shoes?" Mrs$.$ Smithy explained that Michael got some new Jordan's over the weekend and he brought them home in a Footlocker bag the previous night. Mr$.$ Lockheed recalled that Mr$.$ Waters left the residence carrying a Footlocker bag the previous night. Mr$.$ Lockheed immediately notified all of the appropriate people.
