I need to write a query that only shows dates before a specified date from another table.

i have one table titles COC and another titles vns. Each table has a column with dates titles File_Date and FileDate respectively. i need to write a query in ms acess/sql that will only show the dates when the date from Vns(FileDate) is before the date from COC (File_Date). I attached my attempt at the query but it only compares the dates of COC to the first date of VN.
