The final project is to design a website on the topic ofyour choice. The only restriction on content is that it must beappropriate what you use for the academic environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Front-end web design to build off of your initial proposal thathas been approved by the instructor in order to move forward withyour HTML structural layout and interface plan
- Minimum of 4-5 pages (completed HTML documents)
- Use of HTML formatting (15% of your grade towards using HTMLformatting and validation)
- Use of CSS for layout style and design (30% of your gradetowards the use of CSS properties and values)
- Use of JavaScript (jQuery optional) for adding interactivity toyour HTML pages ? (30% of your grade as to how you add and useJavaScript in your design)
- Imagery and media (Any graphics/music/video files taken fromthe web should be royalty-free, copyright-free and given credits onyour site) ? 5% towards grading
- Must include appropriate contact information/email (?mailto?)links within the site
- Must be user-friendly
- Have a unified, effective and aesthetically pleasinginterface
- Validate the codes.
- Categorized, organized and structured logically
- Must be fully functional and must be loaded to our ASU host webserver (After the course grading is over if you want you can moveit to another server of your choice).
- Remaining 20% of your grade is for the design, user interfaceand neatness of your web design project.
