Mind Mapping Overview

Mind mapping is a technique used to help organize concepts to help one see the interconnections between ideas. It is a valuable technique that used by organizations and individuals to better understand complex situations. Management is a complex topic, so to better help you understand the content of this course, you are being asked to complete a mind map of the information you learn. Think of it as a way to summarize all the interesting things that we will cover.

You will be asked to submit the mind map $5$ times throughout the term $($submit in Module $2,4,9,13,$ and $14)$ with the $5$th time being the final map that will include all of the concepts that you learned. This is an accumulative assignment, meaning that each time you submit, you will submit the new mindmap as well as the mindmap from the last submission.

Mindmap Requirements

For this assignment, you are asked to develop a mind map for the content you learned in Chapters $1$ & $2$ and$/$or in the history of management presentation. Using the template provided below, identify the main management topics$/$ideas covered thus far that are related to each of the four major course learning outcomes. After reviewing the content in the modules, make new entries to your mind map. You need at least two new entries for each of the four course$-$level objectives for each mindmap submission. This will equate to at least $8$ new entries each time a new mindmap is due.
