1. Most organisations try to present data fairly, but some presentations are criticised as giving the wrong impression. Perhaps the data is skewed and the median would give a fairer view than the mean; perhaps there are outlying values and the quartile deviation would be fairer than the range. People presenting the data usually argue that they have used objective measures and readers have interpreted these in the wrong ways. Have a look for summaries of data that you feel are misleading. Say why they are misleading and how you would improve them.
