Motivation is a behavior that is conditioned, which changes from a stimulus to do or stop a behavior. There are internal and external causes that change our behavior. I want to share an experience of mine. I wanted to take my driver's license, but I wasn't motivated to take it. I have been driving for two years and I was bored of driving.

I went to take my driver's license and I failed the theoretical test two times. After that experience I wasn't motivated to go and attempt again. Recently I got pulled over by the police, and got a ticket for court. My dad was really mad and I was so mad myself. I was angry and still didn't want to go and take my driver's license. After a few days I got pulled over by police again and got a second ticket for court. Out of my anger I was motivated to go and take my driver's license and went to pay my theoretical test which I will be doing after a few days.

This experience of mine shows how an external cause changed my behavior in going to present my test. Now I am motivated to take it and I will present the test as many times as I can until I pass it.
