On machine N, it takes 0.24 minute to unload and load and 0.85 minute for the machine to do the same work. Machine operating costs are P10.00 and P8.00 per hour, respectively. The operators of both machines earn P55.00 per hour. Devise a plan with only one operator running both machines. Each machine is automatic, once it is started. But the machines do not stop automatically when they finish their operations; the operator must be there to stop them. A worker, however, can stop and unload a machine and then attend to the other machine before loading the first one. Construct the MAC charts for the present and proposed systems.
