My parameters for identifying a successful organization has changed over this course, as I had only focused on the target market and customers, by meeting their needs and wants to ensure a successful business. But I understand now that it is also very important for the success of a business to have a healthy working environment for employees where training and development can ensure more innovation to the success of the business. It is not enough to only focus on the consumers, we must also understand that our team members play a big role in the success of the organization.
As a leader, performance factors and future trends I will consider for developing a high-performing team and organization would include utilizing the employee satisfaction survey which will help with understanding the workplace environment giving us an insight to areas that need improvement (Indeed,2023). For example, the employee satisfaction survey focus areas include: job satisfaction, training and devolvement, recognition and praise, and working conditions. This survey is important to the business as it gives the company direct feedback from its employees feelings, opinions, and experiences in the workplace; gaining insight into workplace culture. The employee satisfaction survey will help to facilitate retention and build a better working environment.
