Hey everyone, Data protection is a key priority for all organizations, whether it may be customer information, employee information, or financial information. There are more types of data but those are three important types of data that hackers may be trying to steal. If an employee is reckless, that information can be stolen pretty easily. One way to protect data better is to use least privilege when giving employees access to information. Those employees should know that if they leave their office or desk that they need to be logged off their computer to help protect the data they have access too. If a company does not use least privilege, critical information can be put into wrong hands. They allow for a bigger attack surface by giving unqualified people access to information. The more people that have access to data, the bigger chance it has to be stolen. It also weakens security and stability of the system. Using least privilege will help keep data safer and out of the hands of people who dont need to be involved.
