The HR Functional area I chose to research is Recruitment and Selection. My approach to analyzing this topic will be to use the SWOT method and dig into the processes of recruiting and selecting the right candidates. I will also look at the outcomes of the candidates selected, if possible. I want to see if the company has data on the success and retention rates of the candidates. So far, I haven't run into any challenges, but I believe the data points will be hard to get since I won't be talking to the person who manages that part. I plan to use research data in place of the actual numbers to compare the success rates in a general way if I can't get the data. Up to now, I've only used resources from the WilmU Library Site to research my topic. I used the ChatGPT tool for the first time while coming up with questions for the interview and I liked it, so I may incorporate that if I can. The dynamic of the conversation during the
