In order to foster an adaptive culture, an organization must have a vision of it's strategies and goals. However, the organization must also develop a learning environment that allows them to invite the idea of change and possible unfreezing when necessary. Additionally, the culture of the organization must support information sharing, experimentation, and risk taking. Adaptive aspects such as these will increase the level of diversity within the organization, as it will also encourage a learning environment. Employees should also be encouraged to learn hands on and challenge themselves daily, which would involve making decisions, problem solving, and working interdependently. Managers should encourage this behavior while providing additional support to the employees, this assistance can vary from mentoring, coaching, and the motivation of learning.
